1 – Initial training programme
The course lasts four years and covers only two species: horses and dogs.- The first three years consist of 20 hours of classes per week spread over two consecutive days + three three-day practical seminars and one mandatory offshore seminar lasting a minimum of six days per year. Other optional three-day clinical seminars are offered throughout the year. These courses focus mainly on learning fundamental subjects (anatomy, biomechanics, etc.) and one-third of the time is devoted to practical training. The terms and conditions are provided on the first day of the academic year when the internal regulations are signed.
- At the end of the third year, students are already able to approach animals on their own and are, of course, covered by our insurance outside of school.
- The fourth year is reserved solely for practical training, consisting of seven 3.5-day seminars and a six-day offshore seminar at the end of the year before the exam in June.
