About us

Our Institute

Noting that osteopathy in general but in particular even more important is animal osteopathy, specialisation very recent has moved away from the fundamentals, principles and techniques that we had given it as its precursors, drifting towards practices that were uncertain, discrediting to the possible and moreover not scientifically proven, we wish, through Etiopathy and its application to animals, only Horses and Dogs, return to the essential, clear and effective principles such as we have been teaching for 20 years with the AEOEC, only to professionals who are already established, by renewing with a rigorous practice, structured and based on a63> mechanical principles and physiological principles, based on anatomy with a capital A.

Our initiative aims to emerge from the shadows and is now focusing on a wider audience of students in order to a8> a wider audience of students to enable animal Etiopathy to take its rightful place, supported by the creation of the International Association of Animal Etiopaths, which will bring together all our past and future graduates.

The primary respiratory movement?

We do not deny the existence of Primary Respiratory Movement (PRM), only in two components, namely the flow of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and the mobility of the intracranial and spinal membranes, which has been proven anatomically, biomechanically and physiologically, but we assert that it cannot be measured by human hands (especially by palpating a hypothetical mobility of the skull bones or palpating the sacrum) and therefore cannot be modified by the latter, except in an aggressive and destructive manner.

It is quite obvious that, in view of the "tensions" exerted on the anatomical system of a quadrupedal mammal, notably of large size such as the horse , it appears grotesque to claim to have any a26> manual therapeutic action of any kind on this MRP, and no anatomist worthy of this name will not contradict us, passing through the bones of the skull (particularly the sphenoid bone...) or through the sacrum...

Intervention on the visceral?

Similarly, a "displacement" of organs, an inappropriate and incongruous term, is not part of our language, approach, and even less of our prerogatives.

If we do not deny the mobility of an organ, which, incidentally, still remains to be scientifically proven, but whose existence our current knowledge leads us to believe that it does indeed exist, we claim that it is not tangible or quantifiable, let alone measurable by human hands, a fortiori on large a24> quadrupeds of large size whose anatomy leaves little room for this kind of doubt.

As for its "mobility", it is certain that in mechanical sequences, through fasciae or other anatomical structures, it can be disrupted. It no longer needs to be scientifically proven. The human hand, while capable of assessing certain organs and in certain circumstances for an experienced and knowledgeable examiner of the human body, still needs to be scientifically proven that it can be modified for therapeutic purposes for some of these organs, particularly those that are particularly "buried", anatomically "protected" and therefore not reliably and delicately palpable.

It is of course completely unaffordable, and consequently unmodifiable on large animals including the horse, one of our favourite subjects. It's just a question of common sense that any anatomist can prove scientifically, as can any ordinary person who has ever attended an autopsy on this type of animal.

On smaller quadrupeds, such as the dog, another animal of predilection for us, it will be the same even, despite the objections of some... concerning the "buried" organs mentioned previously.

A institute of animal etiopathy that is unique in the world

Our institute is not only the first and only school of Etiopathy in France, but also in the world . At the end of each course, after passing an examination requiring an overall average of 14/20, it awards a diploma in Animal Etiopathy and the title of Animal Etiopath, which we own.

Graduates automatically become members of our association, which, in addition to providing various support services and maintaining the register of animal etiopaths, ensures compliance with the charter that governs it.

We guarantee our graduates exclusive professional indemnity insurance for their activities, provided by our partner …

We are currently applying to the European Commission for official recognition of Animal Etiopathy within the EU.

One of our key priorities now is to give Animal Etiopathy the recognition it deserves, by promoting it to the general public, but also by teaching it to students who have just completed their A-levels, rather than, as we have been doing for over thirty years, to practitioners from various but recognised backgrounds (osteopaths and physiotherapists). The collapse of animal osteopathy, which began 15 years ago and continues to grow, only reinforces our actions and was the catalyst for them. We apply the concepts and prerogatives of human Etiopathy to animals, following the principles of its creator, Christian Trédaniel, with whom some of our teachers have worked together.

A training course from a French source but which will open up the world to you.
